Day 2

Spiritual Campaign: CONSECRATED

Leviticus 11:44 (ESV)

44 For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground.

Day 2

Theme: No transformation without Consecration.

Biblical reading:

Romans 12 English Standard Version (ESV)

A Living Sacrifice

12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Gifts of Grace

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Marks of the True Christian

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Thought: Our consecration demands the daily presentation of our body to God as a living and holy sacrifice. This is paramount!

In a fallen and very depraved world, the eternal God, who is three times Holy, demands our daily sanctification. And this purification of soul, mind and heart, in turn requires the consecration of our lives on a genuine altar of true worship.

The biblical terms: sanctify, separate and consecrate … are synonymous terms. Consecration is, therefore, separation. Separation from the world, from sin and the power of darkness! Separation in God, by God … and for God.

In the Old Testament the priests and even the chosen people of God had to consecrate themselves in order to participate in the sacred feasts, when they came to present themselves in the presence of the Most High. And in line with this principle, we invite you to prepare your spirit to celebrate the Major Week of our faith, with an attitude of consecration to God.

For 21 days, you and I will have the opportunity to separate for God by participating in this revival crusade of spiritual consecration.

Pray daily, read the biblical texts and fast under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let’s approach God with a willing heart … to take the cross of self-denial, which is willing to die, so that Christ may live!

Special instructions:
During the next 21 days we recommend spending a minimum of one hour a day in the presence of God, praising, praying and meditating on the Word. And during your times of prayer you should always ask the Lord to reveal to you the areas of your life that still need to be consecrated to the service of God.

In addition, you will fast a minimum of one meal a day (we recommend Wesley’s fast from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily). Remember that fasting is NOT EATING. Fast seeking the direction of God under the anointing of his Spirit. Fast as the Lord tells you to fast. Do not fast with an attitude of religiosity, to be heard by God.

Set aside a special time to read the biblical meditations and as you read them, reflect on the renewing message of the Word, paying attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit. God wants to speak to your heart!

David said to the Lord: “Wash me more and more of my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” “Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; Wash me, and I will be much whiter than white snow. “(Psalm 51: 2,7) Church, the Lord wants to cleanse us from all our wickedness and from all contamination of” flesh and spirit. ”

God will help us to consecrate all that needs to be consecrated; he wants to fill a Consecrated House. Therefore, get to work!

Let’s start this journey of spiritual consecration!
